We are staying in Ande in Normandy, France, in a converted barn. It was originally the studio for the Russian painter Vladimir Bougrine. He has been associated with the village since the 1970′s because of the Moulin d’Ande, constructed at the end of the XIIth century. It is open to artists and intellectuals to help their creative endeavours flourish, far from the stir of Paris.

The beauty of today’s world is there are many ways of communication. Our travelling brings us to the doorstep of our friends and family and enables us to make the effort to meet with them, either one-on-one or in a group. Wonderful!

Cafe Segovia is a really cool place to go and hang out. Gary runs it and is an ever pleasant and attentive host. It’s tucked away down an alley in Melbourne CBD and can be easily missed if you don’t look for it.
