Having read Graham’s post “Travel is in my Blood” some of you might think: easy for HIM to be an Earth Pilgrim, with such a background! Do realize that Graham’s story depicts an extreme. Mine is very different.
So yesterday I picked up my new iPhone 3Gs. Vodafone have released the iPhone and beaten the monopoly of O2. having been with Vodafone for years I was forced on to O2 and I did not enjoy the experience.
On New Year’s Eve 2009 I was sitting up in Southbank, Brisbane, waiting for the fireworks at midnight. And I started reflecting on some of the magic moments of 2009. What an amazing year this has been!
Went to see the new Saatchi Gallery, yesterday, what an interesting experience. It is an extremely impressive building, one that certainly gives an amazing amount of gravitas to the collection.
As a whole I avoid taxis, they are expensive and they insulate you, you get a better feel for a place from trains, buses and walking. There are, however, exceptions that put you in touch with the country you are in.
The start of a new decade. The decade that will end in my 70′s… Wow, that’s something to think about. Life is amazingly full for me right now and very happily so.
